Peer Review Process

ICITS 2026

Every submission is processed through editorial checks and reviewer evaluation. Decisions are made based on scope relevance, originality, technical quality, writing quality, and educational impact.

Reviewer Assignment Qualified reviewers are assigned according to topic and expertise.
Evaluation Criteria Each submission is assessed using five core criteria, including relevance, originality, technical quality, writing quality, and educational impact.
Final Decision Acceptance, revision, or rejection is communicated through the author panel and email.

Initial Screening

  • Editorial control verifies scope fit, formatting, and submission completeness.
  • Papers failing core requirements may be returned for correction before external review.
  • Ethics and similarity checks can be applied during this stage.

Reviewer Evaluation and Criteria

  • Each paper is evaluated by field-appropriate reviewers matched to topic and expertise.
  • Reviewers provide comments on strengths, weaknesses, and required revisions.
  • Evaluation criteria: Relevance to Symposium Scope, Originality & Novelty, Technical Quality & Soundness, Writing & Organization Quality, and Significance & Educational Impact.
  • Authors are expected to respond to revision requests within announced timelines.

Review and Finalization

  • Revised submissions are re-evaluated by editors and/or reviewers when needed.
  • Final decisions are categorized as accepted, revision required, or rejected.
  • Accepted papers proceed to presentation and publication planning steps.
All communication about revisions and decisions is handled via the submission system. Authors should keep contact information updated and follow deadline announcements.
